Samuel Blanch is the Founder of Mining Management Australia (MMA) and a qualified Quarry Manager with extensive experience across Western Australia, Queensland, and the Northern Territory.

After transitioning from the military into mining in 2010, Sam progressed from a Production Operator through to Superintendent and Quarry Manager, building a comprehensive, hands-on understanding of mining operations from the ground up. His career has been shaped across multi-commodity environments, including quarrying, hard rock mining, and Queensland coal operations, providing him with a broad and adaptable operational skillset.

Sam has established a reputation for delivering consistent production performance against demanding throughput, cost, and schedule targets, particularly within high-pressure and transitional environments. He brings a disciplined approach to operational leadership, risk management, and compliance, with a strong focus on stabilising underperforming sites, improving systems, and embedding sustainable operational practices. His ability to quickly assess site conditions and implement practical, results-driven solutions allows him to deliver immediate and measurable value.

Sam is recognised for his practical, team-focused leadership style, built on clear communication, accountability, and leading from the front. He drives performance through data-led planning, maintenance integration, workforce capability development, and shift optimisation, ensuring operations are both efficient and resilient. All personnel are nationally accredited and have successfully completed the required statutory examinations, ensuring full alignment with regulatory frameworks, including the WA Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022.
